Over the month of June, we’ve teamed up with our friends at Spot & Tango to help make you feel more prepared to plan for an emergency with your pup! If it felt like a lot of information, that’s because it was! We’ve listed the essential takeaways and emergency kit add ons from each week below, and all of the information we covered this month can also be found in our digital preparedness library.
- Leash/Collar/Crate
- Food they’re used to and water for at least 3 days
- High Value Treats (peanut butter is perfect, you don’t have to worry about it going bad)
- Vet records/Adoption Papers/Vaccination Records/Printed out photo of your pet(s)
- Benadryl, 2% hydrogen peroxide, and a foldable head cone (AFTER you've spoken to your vet about the proper dosages for your dog)
More pet tips during National Pet Preparedness Month can be found in our Judy x Spot & Tango library HERE.
